From Blackpool North railway station, catch the number 2 bus. Ask for the Belle Vue pub on Whitegate drive. On leaving the bus, cross over the road, and walk away from Whitegate drive up either Portland road or Manor road, both of which lead to Ripon road.

M6, then M55 for Blackpool. Follow the M55 until it ends, then continue straight ahead following signs for car Parking. Do not turn off for north shore, central or south, continue following the car parking signs until you reach the final car park entrance, Blackpool tower will be straight ahead of you about 500 yards (metres) away. The road turns sharp right and goes round to meet chapel street. This is a one way street, you must turn left, but move over to the right lane to turn right at the lights into central drive. Then immediately left into Palatine road, go up palatine road and at the cross roads with Park road, go straight accross and Ripon road is then third on the right, just past the college.

From central pier on the promonade
At the traffic lights at central pier, drive away from the sea to go down Chapel street, past the courts and under a bridge. Approaching the lights, take the right lane, and turn right at the lights, then immediately left into Palatine road. Go up palatine road and at the cross roads with Park road, go straight accross and Ripon road is then third on the right, just past the college.
