during the run up to our 3 week break, several topics of interest started to emerge.
Les is interested in web sites/hosting/development and started a web page design session.
Dave started to set up a Drupal site.
Colin is interested in Tiny core, how linux works and command line stuff.
Several have mentioned an interest in command line, scripting and/or programming.
We might struggle to fit in all the different topics in just two hours a week.
But then, we don't actually need to be at the meeting to get things done, Linux is after all a world wide collaboration.

There are 3 main ways to receive broadband in the UK:-
Cable
Telephone line
Mobile
If you are in a cable TV area, you can receive broadband down the 'TV cable'
This is potentially the fastest type of broadband.
If you have a telephone line, you can receive broadband through the telephone line.
You do not have to get broadband from BT if you have a BT line, you can choose your own broadband supplier.
You can also receive broadband using 'mobile phone technology' . This sends the broadband signal over the air, and it can be used anywhere where a signal can be received.
