Meeting-2009-12-12
Three of us again this week Dave C arrived. Dave was shown by Mike how to set up a home network with both windows 7 and vista PC's on the system. We also looked at the Mandriva 2010 distro but only got as far as completing the install as we ran out of time. One Item of note is the excellent partition tool that Mandriva has which makes preparing the hard drive for a dual boot system a fairly straight forward job, (providing you read the on screen instructions). We'll be having a further look at Mandriver at next weeks meeting, which will be the last for 2009 as we'll be having a holiday break and starting back in the new year, Mike will keep us apprised of the exact date.
